Lumanu is revolutionizing the media industry with our industry-first Influencer Media Platform, which combines influencer content, identities, and audiences with paid social media. Lumanu has driven tremendous revenue growth for some of the top DTC brands in the world including Rent the Runway, M.Gemi, and Plated.

Founded in 2016 by MIT grads and former McKinsey/Bain alums, Lumanu has strategic connections and investors across the retail, sports, and entertainment industries. We're currently looking for a motivated and entrepreneurially minded Account Executive to spearhead our new business development efforts with agencies and publishers in New York. The ideal candidate is a high-performance seller who will be able to develop strategic plans, relationships, and command meetings with sophisticated buyers. Interfacing with all key stakeholders in the advertising ecosystem, you will drive industry adoption of Lumanu and Influencer Media. You will have the ability to translate Lumanu's unique industry positioning, one-of-a-kind data, and cutting edge capabilities into compelling sales stories.

Strong consultative skills, technical acumen and an analytical selling style are important for successful navigation of this role from prospecting / pitching, to recommending solutions and finalizing contracts. You should have proficient knowledge of advertising and/or advertising technologies in order to clearly understand a client's needs and then translate them into a successful SaaS license.


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years sales experience in the digital advertising space across technology solutions, publisher sales, and/or performance media (role and responsibilities will be adjusted based on your experience level and seniority)
  • Senior contacts with agencies, AdTech platforms, digital marketing departments at fortune 500 brands, and/or publishers
  • Experience taking new business from prospect to paying account with a hunter mentality
  • Strong work ethic with a track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals and delivering consistent, ongoing new business backed up with solid references
  • Accurate pipeline management, creative approach to prospecting accounts, consistent ability in closing business
  • Ability to demonstrate high-level technical specifications and service capabilities to a wide audience
  • Experience in explaining technical solutions (e.g., Facebook Ads Ecosystem)
  • Expert knowledge of the ad technology and digital media landscape
  • Experience in using data, analytics, and insights to highlight product value
