SmartBoost - Included/Excluded Saved Audiences from your Facebook Ad Account

Utilizing Included/Excluded Saved Audiences from your Ad Account in SmartBoost v3.0

**The feature will only apply when you have stored audience data living within the ad account that has been connected to your Lumanu SmartBoost instance.**

Lumanu’s SmartBoost allows you to select and target audiences from your own Facebook Ad Account to be included or excluded in your SmartBoost campaigns. These audiences can include: an uploaded customer list, tracked website visitors, social engagers, third party audience data etc.


Any audience that is stored in the ad account connected to your Lumanu instance will be accessible when creating your SmartBoost.


To add or exclude these audiences, tap the ‘Settings’ tab in your selected SmartBoost. 


  1. If you would like to include a particular audience you can select the ‘Included Audiences’ field, type the name of the included audiences (created in your team’s Facebook Ad Account) and you will see them populate for selection


  1. If you would like to exclude an audience, select the ‘Excluded Audiences’ field, type the name of the audiences (created in your team’s Facebook Ad Account) that you do not not want the SmartBoost campaign to target
*note that you cannot have the same audience be both included and excluded within the same campaign


  1. Once you have completed your audience selections, click ‘Save Changes’ in the top right of the SmartBoost screen
  2. Then, click the green “Publish to Facebook” button and your team will receive an email once the campaign is ready to be set live
